NEO-NAZI IN LOUISIANA GOVERNOR'S RACE

An Unpublished Letter to Time Magazine

Nearly 50 years ago, millions of Americans fought against the fascists in Japan, Italy, and Germany.

Earlier this year, a half-million Americans fought against yet "another Hitler" in the Persian Gulf.

This Saturday -- during the week of Veterans' Day, no less -- upwards of a million Americans will apparently vote for a damn neo-Nazi in the Louisiana governor's race.

What in God's name is next?! Concentration camps for "undesirables"? Did tens of millions of people die in vain?

Never again.

Personal Note: As a German-American with Jewish friends and family, such issues are particularly sensitive (as they should be for any human being).
